Cookie Policy

Operated by Subtilprofit Unipessoal Lda · Last updated 21 May 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Subtilprofit Unipessoal Lda uses cookies and similar technologies on Unvios. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, we ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

2. What are cookies and local storage?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Local storage and session storage are browser mechanisms that store data on your device without expiry (until cleared). We use these technologies to remember preferences, keep you signed in, record your cookie choice, and operate checkout.

3. Cookie categories

3.1 Strictly necessary (always active)

  • Authentication session (Supabase) — keeps you logged in securely.
  • unvios-cookie-consent — stores Accept / Essential only choice.
  • unvios-purchases — local purchase history for Escrow view (MVP).
  • Security and load balancing (Cloudflare) — protects against abuse.
  • Stripe — session cookies during hosted checkout on stripe.com.

These are required for core functionality. You cannot opt out without losing sign-in, checkout, or order visibility.

3.2 Functional

  • UI preferences and draft listing state where implemented.
  • Error recovery and performance caching at the edge.

In the current release, many functional features overlap with strictly necessary storage.

3.3 Analytics (optional)

  • Anonymous page views, feature usage, and error rates.
  • Aggregated conversion funnels (listing → checkout).

Loaded only if you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner. We do not use optional analytics for cross-site advertising profiles.

3.4 Marketing (not used today)

We do not deploy advertising or retargeting pixels. If this changes, we will update this Policy and request consent.

4. Third-party cookies

When you interact with embedded services, their cookies may apply:

  • Stripe — payment processing (see stripe.com/cookies-policy).
  • Cloudflare — security and CDN.
  • Supabase — authentication.

We do not control third-party cookies. Review their policies for retention and opt-out.

5. How long cookies last

  • Session cookies — deleted when you close the browser.
  • Persistent cookies — from 1 day up to 13 months depending on purpose.
  • Consent record — stored until you clear site data or change preference.

6. Your choices

Use the buttons on this page or the banner when you first visit:

  • Accept all — necessary + optional analytics.
  • Essential only — necessary cookies and storage only.

You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Instructions: Chrome Settings → Privacy, Safari Preferences → Privacy, Firefox Settings → Privacy & Security. Blocking all cookies will break Unvios checkout and login.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no uniform industry response; we treat DNT as a preference for minimal tracking and default optional analytics to off unless you accept all.

8. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add features or processors. Check the last updated date on this page. Contact privacy@unvios.com with questions.
